Painted aluminum soffit protects the wood structure of the roof overhang and porch ceiling from damage due to excess moisture exposure. It by far outperforms traditional wood soffit and is superior in performance to vinyl. It is available in solid or vented panel configurations. Vented soffit allows air to circulate through the attic for reduced heat build-up and provides for evaporation of unwanted moisture.
